Ukraine is Europe is a humanitarian non-profit organization as defined by French and European law, based in Schiltigheim, France. Our aim is to support Ukrainians affected by the war, both those exiled in Europe and those still in Ukraine. To this end we have set up four different: mobile clinics, humanitarian supplies, energy access and now reintegration of Ukrainians refugees in Ukraine. Our missions are mostly in response to requests from the Ukrainian government or its people, our main priority being to provide help where it is needed as defined by the Ukrainians themselves.
Our organization was created in 2022 as a response to the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, in order to relieve the suffering of the Ukrainian people. Our first action was in response to a logistical emergency in those areas most hard-hit, specifically trying to reach vulnerable people (especially children, the elderly, and their pets) living there. Since then, we have been deeply moved by the gratitude of the Ukrainian people and have been able to see the tangible results of our efforts which has only inspired us to maintain our commitment to them.
In this way, our team has steadily expanded and along with it, the number of domains in which we intervene, including our most recent initiative to assist Ukrainian refugees now living in Europe with their reintegration back into their home country. At present, our organization has more than 60 volunteers from all around the world, and beginning in April 2023 we acquired the status of Public Interest Entity, thus making all donations 66% tax-deductible in France.
Ukraine is Europe is a humanitarian non-governmental organization (NGO), which positions itself in a strictly apolitical manner. Our fundamental mission is to provide support and assistance to the Ukrainian population in the face of the challenges posed by the current military invasion.
Our call is addressed to everyone, regardless of their political affiliation, their status as a public figure, their sector of activity or any other distinction. We invite every individual, every company, every political entity and every other organization to join us in this international humanitarian cause. Our goal is to bring together broad and varied support to maximize our impact and effectively help those in need.
It is important to emphasize that, although we operate in a complex geopolitical context, our actions and commitment are guided by universal humanitarian principles. We are committed to providing our assistance without discrimination and to working for the well-being of all those affected by the crisis.
All contributions, whether financial, material or in the form of services, are welcomed with gratitude. They will be used in full to support our aid programs and initiatives on the ground.

Together we can make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most.
The centers aim to welcome and reintegrate Ukrainians who have chosen to return to the national territory after fleeing Ukraine. Our association intends to tackle this task, by opening its first reintegration center in Dnipro with a reintegration capacity of 2500 people per year, in order to accompany them in the search for social housing, work and administrative and psychological support essential to start a new life in the best conditions.
Initially, we collected donations in France, which allowed the purchase and delivery of ambulances for the evacuation of war wounded and disabled people as well as the transport of children. These ambulances are driven to Ukraine directly by our members and volunteers. Once the distribution of humanitarian aid was done, these ambulances were given to Ukrainian civil hospitals in need in the regions of Eastern Ukraine and in the combat zones.
In October 2022, the Russian federation started to attack continuously for all the winter, the energy infrastructures of Ukraine causing a disaster in terms of access to electricity and heat for the most vulnerable civilian populations. Therefore, we received a large number of requests from civil institutions such as orphanages, hospitals or temporary displacement centers to palliate the energy access situation.
Our association acts directly on the ground, in the border and liberated areas by Ukraine. As a result, we have precise information on the ground regarding the needs of civilian populations in the most sensitive areas of Ukraine. Therefore, since the beginning of the conflict, we have been striving to send 1 convoy every 2 weeks to Ukraine. Our association acts directly on the ground, in the border and liberated areas by Ukraine.
Following the Russian invasion, a migratory movement of temporary displaced persons has emerged in Ukraine, leading to significant inequalities in access to education. Indeed, hundreds of thousands of children have been forced to resort to online learning. Unfortunately, many temporary displaced persons had to leave their homes in haste and were unable to bring their electronic devices with them, finding themselves now financially unable to acquire the necessary electronic equipment to participate in online education.
